Join Bethany Webb for a life-changing  retreat experience that combines 2 of the most powerful tools for self-realization: Yoga & The Work of Byron Katie (a.k.a. ~ “Yoga of the Mind”). Would you rather have a more flexible mind or a more flexible body? In this retreat, we will learn to achieve both!

The Work is a simple yet profound process of self-inquiry where we learn to identify and question our stressful thoughts that cause us suffering.  We will have an opportunity to let the inner judge speak, apply Katie’s 4 questions & turnarounds, and meet our beliefs with understanding.

Throughout the weekend, Bethany will  offer a variety of yoga classes specifically designed to cleanse the mind & body. We will create the space for you to become more aware of the relationship between your body, thoughts, and emotions.  Through this awareness, you will uncover the patterns that no longer work for you, and replace them with new patterns that do.  Enjoy morning walking meditations, profound group facilitations, & a few surprises too.  Spend time relaxing on the peaceful, nature-filled property of Living Waters on Lake Travis, located in the hill country 45 minutes outside of Austin. You will be nourished with daily raw juices and delicious vegan & gluten-free meals created by our food guru, Chef Sandra.  Retreat Packages designed for every budget and can include overnight accommodations (private or shared), all yoga, activities, meals, and optional Thai Massage.

Friday

  • 3-6pm: Check-in to Living Waters, explore the property, enjoy appetizers & tea, thai massage available
  • 6pm: Welcome Dinner
  • 7pm: Greeting & Introduction to The Work of Byron Katie 

Saturday

  • 7am: Morning Walking Meditation
  • 7:30am: Raw Juice Breakfast
  • 8am: Detox Flow Yoga ~ a cleansing practice full of twists & turns to cultivate presence, strength, & vitality
  • 10am: Yoga of the Mind ~ The Work of Byron Katie
  • 12:30pm: Lunch
  • 1-4pm: Free time to relax, receive thai massage, read, nap, soak in the hot tub
  • 4pm: Restorative Zen Yoga ~ a gentle practice with lots of massage/hands-on adjustments to slow down the mind & tune into the heart
  • 7pm: Dinner
  • 8pm: Evening Program

Sunday

  • 7am: Morning Walking Meditation
  • 7:30am: Raw Juice Breakfast
  • 8am: “Loving What Is” Yoga ~ a practice with the perfect balance of movement & stillness that creates a space for you to be a “lover of reality”
  • 10am: Yoga of the Mind ~ The Work of Byron Katie
  • 12:30pm: Farewell Lunch
  • 2pm: Check-out of the retreat & into your beautiful life!

Retreat Packages & Accommodations

Our main gathering space is the luxurious La Casa de Joy straw bale home, which was featured on HGTV, Designing Texas, & Natural Home Magazine. It is the tallest straw bale home in Texas and was originally built by artist & healer, Joanna Long. Her creative energy is felt throughout the entire property! Please choose from the following retreat packages:

  • Earth Package: $299 early/ $349 reg. includes all yoga, activities, & meals (no accommodations- ask about local hotels or on-site camping).
  • Water Package: $399 early bird/ $449 reg. includes camper-style bunk bed in The Bunk Room Eco-Cabin, shared room & bath, all yoga, activities, & meals. (1 left!)
  • Heart Package: $499 early bird/ $549 reg. includes full-size futon mattress in The Blue Loft Eco-Cabin, shared room & bath, kitchenette, all yoga, activities, & meals.  (sold out)
  • Air Package: $599 early bird/ $649 reg. includes private room with queen bed & private bath, all yoga, activities, & meals ($100 discount for shared bed). Choose to stay in the Upstairs of La Casa de Joy, The Cottage, or The Romantic Red Room Eco-Cabin(sold out).

Bethany is a Yoga Therapist, Thai Bodyworker, & Artist in Austin & Dallas, TX. Her yoga teaching style is eclectic & creative with lots of yummy hands-on adjustments.
