“La Casa de Joy” is our beautiful 1-bed, 2-bath waterfront luxury home on Lake Travis. This home has been featured on HGTV’s Straw with Style, Designing Texas, and was the cover feature for Natural Home Magazine. It is the tallest straw bale home in Texas, and architecturally unique with hand-painted tiles & healing gemstones woven into the flooring. At the front entrance, you are met with a beautiful view of the entire property, garden, & a koi pond. Walk through the soaring entry way into the downstairs main living area with a cornerstone fireplace, 2nd living room, & fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs you’ll find a stunning large master bedroom with Queen size bed, study, master bath, dual sided fireplace (take a bath by the fire!), and a spiral staircase leading to the 3rd floor viewing tower. The back of the home features a large covered porch with a fireplace, hot tub, and gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets. “La Casa de Joy” was originally built by artist & healer J. Long; her creativity & energy are felt throughout the entire property.
